In the past three years, Covid-19 greatly impact human’s life. Mental health became the most sensitive aspect during the pandemic. People were forced to accept the unacceptable situation even though it is hard. In this case, people are all on the stages of grief until they pass it or lose it depending on their condition. This is how the griefs during the pandemic are applied into this interactive installation, to engage visitors to feel and be reminded.

The appearance of the installation reflects the uniqueness of each human. Façade of the installation becomes important to give its unique first impression. For the space experience, as visitors step into exhibition installation, visitors will be greeted with an experience that takes them on a journey through the five stages of grief that people experience during the pandemic. The five stages of grief in sequence are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. The emotions and experiences that they have been through are collective social experience that they have as social being. This installation portrays humans as complex beings with two distinct sides, both as individual creatures and social beings.

As visitors make their way through the installation, they will encounter different senses of space that represent each stage of grief. The installation begins with denial, encouraging visitors to reflect on how they initially reacted to the pandemic and how it affected their lives. Next comes anger, where visitors can release any pent-up emotions through expressive activities. The installation then progresses to bargaining, where visitors are encouraged to think about the compromises they made during the pandemic and how they affected their mental health. Visitors then move on to depression, where they are given a safe space to confront and process the sadness and grief that they may have experienced during the pandemic. Finally, visitors reach acceptance, where they are invited to reflect on their journey and how it has changed them. They can share their thoughts and feelings with others, connecting with those who have gone through similar experiences.

The installation provides a space for visitors to process and regulate their emotions and experiences related to the pandemic that are possibly unsolved. It as an introspective and communal experience that allow visitors to explore their journey while also connecting with others who have gone through similar experiences. Visitors are encouraged to come and immerse themselves in this unique and powerful experience, allowing it to help them on their journey towards healing and acceptance.
